So my hypothesis was pretty correct. I like that the people picked ending up being captains. It allowed for a nice mix up of the tribes. I also am pleased at the fact that people left last round in double tribal councils. So it was a win win win win win twist.
I got home from work and couldn't access the tribe forum so I decided to head onto AIM even though I could see that Joel and Allan were voted out (thanks to the updated cast wall). I was immediately told that we got new tribes. Tres exciting.
My new tribe is myself, Hooker, Bud, Juice, Jordan, Tucker, and Stephen. I really really like the tribe. I don't know if I'd particularly be safe on this tribe if we lost. I think perhaps Jordan, Tucker, Stephen, and Juice could vote for me if we lose. I'm hoping not though. I'm going to make an effort to talk to Stephen every chance that I can get. Keep talking to Juice every now and then. And try and catch Tucker online. I have yet to talk to Jordan. Honestly, he'd probably be my first target if we lose. Just because of my past relations with Tucker/Stephen. I think with past relations there is more opportunity to work with someone. Obviously that hasn't been the case with my alliance with Hooker because I just met him this game but overall all my other past relations have helped me out. My relation with Bud is extremely beneficial to me. My relation with Joel was beneficial for a short while.
Sure, my relation with Jeffrey didn't really spark this game but we never had the chance to try and be on the same side. I do think he'd somewhat have my back though. We won't find out for a while though because now we're on separate tribes.
Stephen wants to work with me. I like that. I think it's funny that I keep getting all these people's hopes up and making them feel good about their chances and then smashing their dreams and voting them out (such as Bridget and Joel). Gawd I'm so villainous. I'm not meaning to be such a jackass and do that. I'm really not. I'm just looking out for myself and ensuring that people won't want to vote me. If it becomes apparent that others do not have my interests in mind or are becoming too threatening in the strategic department and haven't included me in their plans then I have to vote them out. And that's what happened with Bridget and Joel. The same could very well happen with Stephen. I'm giving him the chance. I'm going to be good friends with him. But if/when he does something that I do not like I'll vote him out. Easy as that.
Immunity challenge tonight, we should have the advantage. We have a strong tribe. I hope we're strong enough to win this.
