So Katy went home, blah blah blah, nobody's surprised. Katy's blaming it on her actually having a life and Juice for not texting her and blah blah blah, nobody cares. Katy was just inactive. A lot of people just don't wanna make the time for ORGs. Nothing wrong with that. But at least admit it, don't blame everyone else for your no-showings.
Anyway, that's done. Now the real game really begins. 20 people are left, (meaning I'm already guarenteed to do better than I did in Ireland, YAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.......oh I could still finish horribly) and everyone left is pretty active. I'm really nervious about the tribal situation. Where are the alliances? How can I take advantage of them? Who can I trust.....well obviously nobody, guess that one wasn't a question.
Right now, I'll just go ahead and rank my tribemates in order of who'd I'd want to ally with, maybe that will help out me a little....
1. Hooker: We've been officially alligned since I was annouced into the game. I don't completely trust him, but it's clear by now that he does value me as an ally, since he keeps me updated on everything and helps me plan our moves out. We're gonna need to make a big move should we lose another immunity challenge, because right now, neither of us feel all that secure in our positions.
2. RB: It's pretty sad when a guy you've only talked to 3 times is your 2nd most useful ally. However, RB is charismatic and seemed to be very open to the idea of working with me immediately, which is important. Next time I talk to him, I'll bring up getting some other people together.
3. Juice: Juice and I have been alligned since the start. However, I've also known since the start that I can't trust much of what he says. The fact that he's so anti-Bud and seemingly getting close to a lot of other players is part of what's scaring the hell out of me. Hooker's starting to get nervous too around him, and RB's never trusted him. Good, that'll help out when we need to get rid of him. Until then, Juice does at least talk strategy with me and I don't believe I'm his next target anytime soon. So #3 is where he stays.
4. Megan: This is tough because Megan doesn't like to talk game with me apparently. I think she's got other alliances, but I still could use her vote and we have agreed to look after each other. That's a start, a small start, but a start.
5. Bridget: I'm nervous about putting her this high up. I know she's a threat and I know I'm not high on her ally list, (otherwise, why be so hesisitant about talking long term game with me?). She's probably got some major alliance going on and I just haven't been able to figure it out yet, (though I'm sure Jeffrey and maybe Megan are in it). She'll slice my throat the first chance she gets, so she'll have to go soon. But she still is up there because I talk game with her, nothing more.
6. Bud: I actually like the dude, but I haven't made any alliances with her yet, which is concerning me. I think I'm just gonna go ahead and make the move next time I talk to him. If me and Hooker are gonna take over this game, he's just the guy we need. He'll be happy to stick around, he'll be happy to let us let him take charge, and he's the perfect shield for us should we find ourselves outside the numbers game. Bud is basically the perfect expendable ally.
7. Joel: Never talk game with him, so he's secure enough without me obviously. If me and Hooker take over, he might be the first one to go bye bye.
8. Jeffrey: I don't miind the guy anymore, now that I'm starting to get his sense of humor, but the fact is, the boy doesn't talk to me ever. I've spoken to him twice since this game has started, and both times I've had to hunt his ass down. He clearly wants nothing to do with me and ideally, I could take him out next.
It's weird because normally I'm all ready to play and making the alliances early on. But my more under the radar approach has definitely changed things for me. Now I don't feel secure, BUT I do feel like I'm paying better attention to what people are telling me and thus getting a better read on them. So maybe this idea is working after all. That being said, I've gotten my reads on everyone, it's time to start my dominating gameplay again. No more mister quiet guy, this time......YOU ALL DIE!!!! MAHAAHAHHAHHAHAHAHHHAHH!!!! Well, I just vote you out, I won't actually kill you. But yeah, you get the idea. I'm taking over the game now and there's nothing you can do about it!
