THE HEROES
We chose
purple as the embodying color for the Heroes, as purple represents good judgment and spiritual fulfillment.
Detailed into the purple background of our flag are the names of the fourteen locations of iSurv1vor, each game a unique experience for groups as small as thirteen and as large as twenty-seven. Since this series has reached an historic point, it is only fitting that the previous seasons be recognized and acknowledged just as much as the Heroes and Villains of the past who made their season unique.
Beneath the Heroes vs. Villains logo are two torches, which in true Survivor fashion represent our life in this game, and also mark iS's second All-Star season.
We adapted our "Heroes" font from the hit NBC Show, with the idea originally stemming from Erik's hilarious
Heroes artwork posted in Kings Island, in which he plastered each of our heads into a
Heroes cast photo. This picture was the first true bonding experience for us as a tribe, so it felt only appropriate to include the
Heroes font in our flag.
To emphasize the teamwork in our tribe, each member actively participated in the flag's assembly by taking a picture of themselves holding a piece of heart-adorned paper with some kind of heroic attribute written on it.
Credit for various elements of the flag go to the following:

Each of our heroic attributes and their reasons for inclusion are listed by the picture-takers / authors below:
Erik chose
Sex Appeal because well, c'mon, let's be honest...look at this tribe! Heroes are typically easy on the eyes, and this game is no exception. The villains don't even come close to the raw sexuality found here on the Heroes tribe.
Tucker chose
Courage because a true Hero goes above and beyond the call of duty, be it to help a team mate and sacrifice their needs above others, and stand accountable for their actions.
Jordan chose
Integrity because it's one of the hallmark qualities of a Hero. It represents commitment to sincerity, even in the face of a game as cutthroat as iSurv1vor.
Stephen chose
Valor because it represents the boldness, raw determination and gallant attitude that Heroes possess against all worthy competitors.
Clayton chose
Loyalty because a true Hero stands devoted and faithful to their word and allegiances.
Jamie chose
Compassion because as Heroes, if one person falls, our entire group will be behind them to alleviate their suffering and push them on to realize their potential.
Ashley chose
Honour* because this season we will be honouring* past alumni for the amazing games they played, as well as the hosts for their dedication and creativity. Without you guys we wouldn't be here right now. We salute you all!
Erin chose
Friendship because it adds a little spice to our lives. Friendship is based off of trust, faith, and concern for one another. As bitter as this game may be, everyone makes a friend somewhere along the line. That friend is your harbor during the storm of this crazy game. A true Hero is always there for their friends.
Morgan chose
Love because it's what moves the world. It truly is what the world currently needs with all the awful things that are happening. Love is the most powerful emotion a human can possess as it conquers all odds. A true Hero knows that the power of love is important and is able to look at the world through loving eyes.
Allan chose
Respect because much too often, many people get caught up in the game and forget this attribute exists. This tribe of Heroes will uphold the best respect for each other as well as for our opponents.
And finally, Tom chose
Donna because more than any other word in the English language, this beautiful name typifies everything a true Hero represents. Grace. Elegance. Maturity. (Grand)motherly kindness. And all of the aforementioned characteristics listed above. This flag is a reflection of the most heroic person to ever play iSurv1vor: the one, the only, the ageless...Donna.
*Non-Americans spell certain words like "honor" with an added U. Crazy, perhaps, but as a multinational tribe stretching across four countries, we unite behind both spellings of the word. <3
