Descriptions:
HEROES:
We chose purple as the embodying color for the Heroes, as purple represents good judgment and spiritual fulfillment.
Detailed into the purple background of our flag are the names of the fourteen locations of iSurv1vor, each game a unique experience for groups as small as thirteen and as large as twenty-seven. Since this series has reached an historic point, it is only fitting that the previous seasons be recognized and acknowledged just as much as the Heroes and Villains of the past who made their season unique.
Beneath the Heroes vs. Villains logo are two torches, which in true Survivor fashion represent our life in this game, and also mark iS's second All-Star season.
We adapted our "Heroes" font from the hit NBC Show, with the idea originally stemming from Erik's hilarious Heroes artwork posted in Kings Island, in which he plastered each of our heads into a Heroes cast photo. This picture was the first true bonding experience for us as a tribe, so it felt only appropriate to include the Heroes font in our flag.
To emphasize the teamwork in our tribe, each member actively participated in the flag's assembly by taking a picture of themselves holding a piece of heart-adorned paper with some kind of heroic attribute written on it.
Credit for various elements of the flag go to the following:
Background Design: Tucker
Torches & Logo: Stephen
Tribal Color: Morgan
Each of our heroic attributes and their reasons for inclusion are listed by the picture-takers / authors below:
Erik chose Sex Appeal because well, c'mon, let's be honest...look at this tribe! Heroes are typically easy on the eyes, and this game is no exception. The villains don't even come close to the raw sexuality found here on the Heroes tribe.
Tucker chose Courage because a true Hero goes above and beyond the call of duty, be it to help a team mate and sacrifice their needs above others, and stand accountable for their actions.
Jordan chose Integrity because it's one of the hallmark qualities of a Hero. It represents commitment to sincerity, even in the face of a game as cutthroat as iSurv1vor.
Stephen chose Valor because it represents the boldness, raw determination and gallant attitude that Heroes possess against all worthy competitors.
Clayton chose Loyalty because a true Hero stands devoted and faithful to their word and allegiances.
Jamie chose Compassion because as Heroes, if one person falls, our entire group will be behind them to alleviate their suffering and push them on to realize their potential.
Ashley chose Honour* because this season we will be honouring* past alumni for the amazing games they played, as well as the hosts for their dedication and creativity. Without you guys we wouldn't be here right now. We salute you all!
Erin chose Friendship because it adds a little spice to our lives. Friendship is based off of trust, faith, and concern for one another. As bitter as this game may be, everyone makes a friend somewhere along the line. That friend is your harbor during the storm of this crazy game. A true Hero is always there for their friends.
Morgan chose Love because it's what moves the world. It truly is what the world currently needs with all the awful things that are happening. Love is the most powerful emotion a human can possess as it conquers all odds. A true Hero knows that the power of love is important and is able to look at the world through loving eyes.
Allan chose Respect because much too often, many people get caught up in the game and forget this attribute exists. This tribe of Heroes will uphold the best respect for each other as well as for our opponents.
And finally, Tom chose Donna because more than any other word in the English language, this beautiful name typifies everything a true Hero represents. Grace. Elegance. Maturity. (Grand)motherly kindness. And all of the aforementioned characteristics listed above. This flag is a reflection of the most heroic person to ever play iSurv1vor: the one, the only, the ageless...Donna.
*Non-Americans spell certain words like "honor" with an added U. Crazy, perhaps, but as a multinational tribe stretching across four countries, we unite behind both spellings of the word. <3[/quote]

VILLAINS:
Memo
To: Mr. Sandros Pomales, Mr Corey Bauche & Selected alumni
From: Villains Tribe Division heads
Date: April 10, 2010
Subject: New Logo and Flag design for the Villains division of i1 Inc.
We, the department heads of the Villains division of i1 Incorporated, propose to amend our division's tribe slogan and logo. We also propose to create a flag for display. Below is a brief description of these items and the people involved in creating it.
Overall flag description – The Villains tribe chose a hell theme for our flag. A background color of blood red was chosen with overlying, chaotic, black points to darken it even more. These colors bring a dark and scary motif to the flag in accordance with our tribes expected personality. This is the color we have chosen to be our tribe color. The snake and apple are an almost 2000 year old symbol for evil and was superimposed over the entire flag as a center piece as a kind of warning that anyone who opposes us will face the fires of hell. The other additions also represent the hell theme. The Devil's pitchfork, Witches’ cauldron and hangman's noose are all self evident why they fit into the flag as a whole! The Skulls along the bottom are there as a symbol of our tribal torches in the game. There are 11, (1 for each tribe member) and our names are arranged along them.
The next part of the flag, I thought warranted its own description. I feel the Slogan is an integral part of the flag and the overall message. “Oderint dum metuant”. It means: Let them hate provided that they fear. We chose a Latin phrase as a slogan for a few reasons. The first was because it is the old language and most of the occult and of course the old testament (Where Hell is derived from) was originally done in this language. The second reason is because it sounds totally kick ass! This slogan was chosen for the Villains tribe because it embodies the spirit of evil that we will bring. They (the Heroes) may hate us and what we stand for and that we oppose them in the game, but as a tribe we embrace that hate as a tool! The Heroes hate and fear what can destroy them and that is the Villains tribe!!!
Below, we have itemized the people involved in the project and their contributions to the flag.
-Bridget created the background of the flag by blending black and maroon together using the gradient tool
-Jeffrey added blood splatters with a brush tool
-Joel added the villains logo with evil font, took the snake around the apple pic, and lowered the opacity down to give it a ghost like image, and added our motto and gave the words a border
-Juice added the isurv1vor 14 logo, and added a hanging man, acting like the logo is holding the rope around the hanging man's neck.
-Bud added a pitchfork and a cauldron hanging from the villain logo
-Katy added 11 skull torches one for each member of the villain tribe
-TheHooker added name tags to each of the skull torches, and painted a black string to attach it to the torches.
-Megan wrote everyone's names on each of the name tags on the skull torches
-Rb added a 3x pixel black border around the flag
-Stickman added a 2 px red border and a 1 px black border around Rb's border to give it more layers
-Torah smoke brushed the image to give it a smokier look, and lowered the opacity so it didn't overpower the flag.
In conclusion to this report the Villains submit that these proposals be approved and that immunity be provided to this tribe for the coming tribal council. Thank you for your time, and we look forward to your announcement.
